PORT SORELL PLAYGROUP

We're very sad over here as our local playgroup has closed down for good, We had our last session on Thursday and it was very sad! Helen who is one of the organizers shared a few words and a few tears and spoke about how she has loved doing playgroup over the last 4 years. We have been attending the local playgroup for almost 3 years we met some lovely ladies there and some great children. 

At the last session we had a little party, everyone bought along a plate of food and we sat outside in the sun and ate some snacks while the kids ate and played on the playground. They then handed out a gift to each family a Christmas card, a book and some bubbles! the kids were very happy with there little presents and we've been reading the book a few times a day since! They had also taken photos of the kids a few weeks back and gave them to us which then the kids made photo frames and stuck the pictures inside, they now sit on Bretts desk at work. The kids made some Reindeer food (oats, glitter and colored rice) to put out the night before Christmas for the Reindeer! 

We have enjoyed each session at playgroup over these last few years and wonder now what to do with our Thursdays? Unfortunately I didn't take ANY photos! silly me! My bag was inside with my phone and we had spent most of our time playing outside that day and I had just totally forgotten to take photos.  

Hopefully with the new school opening next year they'll put on a playgroup & if so, we'll def be attending that!
