Mothers day was a very exciting weekend for me, I love mother's day! I think it's really special that we are able to celebrate a day all about Mother's & Father's (Fathers day) Lacey & BJ drew me lots of pictures and did all sorts of crafty little things at Daycare & Playgroup, There still sitting on the table, I need to put them in the kids journals before they get ruined. 

Saturday Morning, the day before mothers day Brett woke me up at 7am and told me to hurry up and get ready as he had booked us in for Buffet breakfast at the Gateway in town, We were headed out the door by 7:45am ( we had to wake up the kids!) We enjoyed a yummy breakfast followed by a quick stop at the Farmers Market to pick up some local produce. 

When we got home I was very lucky to go back into town and go on a winter clothes shopping spree alone! That night we went out to dinner as a family. 

Sunday morning I got breakfast in bed and more crafty goodness from the kids that they did in nursery, I love the little drawings and art they do, they get so excited about it which makes the drawings even more special. 

My last present was this : 

A Thermochef! So far so good with it, bit tricky trying to get used to using it and not other appliances and converting recipes etc but Im getting there and Im loving it!

Thanks Brett, Lacey & BJ-Dehn for a great weekend, I'm so grateful that I've been given the blessing of motherhood, Its defiantly hard and tough but also very rewarding and joyful and I'm learning more and more each day and don't think that learning will ever stop!
