We have a 4 yr old

A few weeks ago at the beginning of the month Lacey celebrated her 4th birthday. Seriously 4 years already! Where that time went I don't know! 

We kept it pretty casual this year, Her birthday was on a Friday so I asked her what she would like for a special dinner either me cook her something she likes or she can choose somewhere to go. She chose to go out for Sushi so that night along with Aunty Crista, Uncle Timmy & Coby, Jake, Charlotte, Hazza & Oakley we all went out to Sushi and ordered Banquets! 

Afterwards we went to Maces where the kid's played in the play ground & enjoyed dessert there. 

The next weekend Neena & Poppa (Glenn & denise, Bretts mum & dad) Bretts Sister Rachael & her baby Ava came down from QLD for a visit so I decided to hold off on the cake until they were here. We turned it into a big Sunday night family roast dinner with Birthday cake. Lacey requested a Barbie cake.

This big 4 yr old loves : 

Dancing

anything crafty and arty

helping me cook and bake 

playing with her younger brother and our dog Ollie 

going to the beach and for rides on her bike 

watching musical dvd's (wizard of oz, pippy long stocking, annie) 

dressing up and anything girly

But then there's the tom boy side of her & she also loves:

water fights

collecting rocks and sticks in buckets

digging holes in the dirt

playing boy games with BJ

kicking the footy with Daddy

practicing boxing & wrestling also with Daddy
