Last week we went away camping for 2 nights & 3 days at Montagu (a little past smithton) Steph Eden and there kids, Jonny Scarlett and there boys came along too! It was nice to go away with other families. We had no phone reception, no hot water & no showers! which ment we didnt shower for 3 days! (gross)

The men did a bit of fishing and caught our breakfast morning, Fresh fish is the best!
The kids played all day non stop it's amazing how much fun they can have without technology to distract them.
We roasted marshmallows over the fire and made hot milo's. One night we all put the kids to bed around the same time and steph made us these yummy waffles cones filled with marshmallows and chocolate wrapped in foil and heated over the fire (thanks pinterest for the idea and thanks steph for providing the ingredients)
We had a really nice and relaxing time, But it sure was nice to come home and have a nice warm shower!
How fun! You guys really were "roughing" it... the kids looked like they loved it! My best memories from growing up are family vacations like camping! I'm sure they'll always remember it!
