Christmas Eve & Christmas Day!

WOW! what a weekend, this year we decided we would stay in Tas for christmas every year we head to QLD to do the family thing with our families, but this year thought we'd keep it quiet and stay here - well a 'quiet' christmas turned into a full on weekend after all! but who would want it any other way? We started off with dinner, santa, christmas lights & presents at Tom and Ann triffitts along with ty & sam, Jimbo aimee eli & meggie.

There was food galore and yummy desserts ...
Santa doing his round's on the fire engine around our town Shearwater

Opening presents on the deck - Thanks aunty Anni for spoiling the kids!
some quiet 'reading' time with the kid's new book's, games of stuck in the mud, duck duck goose & what's the time Mr wolf, the kids entertaining us with there dance moves & lots of laughter.

Once it got dark - (9pm) thanks daylight savings! We headed down the rd to the most amazing house with christmas light's the kids loved it

slay rides & candy canes for the kids

Thanks everyone for making christmas eve a fun and memorable day!

CHRISTMAS DAY 2011

Christmas day begun at 730am (Brett had to wake up the kids!!!)

We quickly checked outside to see if the reindeer ate his carrots & if santa drunk his milk & ate his cookies (we didnt have cookies so this year santa ate a muesli bar) then to present time it was - I had a 'proud' moment when Lacey was opening all her presents after each one she would say thank you mummy, thankyou daddy, thankyou BJ, thankyou santa and opened each present so calmly and waited until we told her it was time to open them, BJ on the other hand haha - He is still a little to understand it all and was happy enough to play with the paper lol.

We then went to church for an hour came home & the kids had a nap and i got stuck into some cooking ready for our guests for Christmas Lunch

Christmas night we bathed the kids, cleaned up and sat down and watched the movie Enchanted as a family and had round 2 of desserts :) I make a fab chocolate mousse! It was nice after all the busyness to sit down together as a family and enjoy a DVD and some quiet time. I just love Christmas the presents the food the company is all great but the most important reason of all is the birth of our Savoir, the true meaning of it all.

I hope you all enjoyed a fantastic Christmas for 2011
xx
